Faculty of Political Sciences

The Faculty of Political Sciences in Podgorica is one of the youngest organization units of the University of Montenegro, which organizes teaching at undergraduate studies within fve study programmes:

• International Relations
• Politicology
• Journalism
• Social Policy and Social Work
• European Studies

These study programmes are organized at the level of uNDERGRADUATE, SPECIALIST, MASTER and DOCTORAL STUDIES.
The teaching process at all levels is realized entirely in line with the new Rules of Studying at the University of Montenegro and the Bologna Declaration. This way of studying requires continuous work of students which is evaluated not only at the end, but throughout the semester.
At least one half of the mark is formed before the final exam, which is organized in the last week of the semester. Teaching is carried out in high quality spatial and technical conditions.
Most of the teachers use modern technical aids in order to make the work of students easier.
The most eminent professionals in the field of political sciences, both from Montenegro and the region give lectures at the faculty. The Faculty organizes visiting lectures of experts (scientists, university teachers, ambassadors, other diplomats, well-known journalists...) from the country and abroad, in order to make it possible for students to become acquainted in the most concrete way with the subject matter they are studying.
