Music Academy



Music Academy in Cetinje was established in 1980 as one of the members of theUniversity ”Veljko Vlahoviæ”.
Since its foundation to the present day Music Academy has top level pedagogical staff, engages eminent professors from abroad, providing thus a high level of teaching and concert activity. In November 2006 Music Academy became a member of the European Association of Conservatories – AEC, as a full member.

Currently there are eight study groups at the Music Academy:
  • Composing
  • Conducting
  • General Music Pedagogy
  • Piano
  • String Instruments (Violin, Viola, Violoncello, Contrabass)
  • Wind Instruments (Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Oboe)
  • Guitar
  • Accordion

UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES last six semesters, after which students can enroll POSTGRADUATE SPECIALIST STUDIES – two semesters and POSTGRADUATE MASTER STUDIES – four semesters.
