University Library

The University Library is the central higher education library at the University of Montenegro and the main library for higher education institutions libraries within university units.
Although the activity of the University Library, as a library of general scientific character, is primarily in the function of teaching, research and artistic activities at the University of Montenegro, it is gradually growing into a modern information center, with the personnel and technical capacities adequate for the needs of a wide range of readers.

The Library was founded in 1979, and it is on the premises of Engineering faculties building.
The Library has 9992 library units of monographs (including a collection of 665 doctoral dissertations and master’s theses published at the University of Montenegro) and 1030 periodical publications.
In order to meet the needs of those who use it, the University Library cooperates with a large number of libraries and has agreements on borrowing with other libraries. Books are mainly borrowed from the National library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević” from Cetinje whose library holdings are entirely at its disposal.
