- Faculty of Medicine -
The Faculty of Medicine in Podgo rica
began work in the academic year 1997/98. As
a unique educational, scientific and medical
institution, the Faculty of Medicine
organizes undergraduate studies for
obtaining the title of a medical doctor
which last 6 years, i.e. 12 semesters. This
young scientific-educational institution
carries out teaching in two new and modernly
equipped buildings for pre-clinical
subjects. The teaching in clinical subjects
is carried out in educational-scientific
bases of the Faculty (Clinical Centre of
Montenegro, National Institute, Institute
“Simo Milosevic” Igalo, Institution for
Pulmonary Diseases “Brezovik”, The
Health Centre Podgorica).
Undergraduate Studies
Education for obtaining the title of a
medical doctor is carried out according to
the curriculum and it lasts 6 years. The
curriculum is designed so that undergraduate
studies include pre-clinical and
clinical subjects, which systematically
provide students with the necessary fundamental
and theoretical knowledge on
one side, and good quality practical training
on the other.
