STUDENT ACCOMODATION
Students of the University of Montenegro who are financed from the Republican Budget can use six students residence halls including restaurants and clubs. There are residence halls in Podgorica, Nikšić, Kotor and Cetinje, i.e. in towns where there are faculties or complexes of faculties.
Students eat in student restaurants. Food and accommodation prices are affordable and they do not exceed 20 Euros per month.
The Blue Building
This is a popular name for a modernly adapted part of the Old Students Residence Hall. This residence hall has 120 places and it is reserved for best students. A number of rooms is reserved for assistant teachers employed at the University, whose residence place is outside Podgorica.
There are also six suites for visiting professors within the residence hall. There are single and double rooms with a bathroom, and they rank as a Bcategory hotel accommodation.

New Student Residence Hall
This is the biggest residence hall, with two buildings, with 868 places, and it is within the complex of Engineering faculties. Apart from accommodation capacities, the New Students Residence hall also has a restaurant, a bar, students
club, library, Internet café and TV hall. There are 24 single, 170 double and 168 rooms with three beds, so that students from four rooms use the same bathroom (on average 10-12 persons).

Old Students Residence Hall
This residence hall is in the immediate vicinity of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics. It includes a restaurant. There are 240 places in the residence hall. The accommodation is such that there are 4-6 students in a room, and student living on one floor use the same bathroom.

Students Residence Hall Braća Vučinić
This is the only students residence hall in Nikšić with the capacity of 256 places. One floor of this residence hall is reserved for the best students and visiting professors. It is in the rank of a B-category hotel. There are rooms with three and four beds at other levels, and 3 common bathrooms are used by students living at a single floor. There is a restaurant within the students residence hall where 350 meals can be provided.

Student Residence Hall Spasić-Mašera
This students residence hall is intended for students of the Faculty of Marine Studies and the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management. There are 262 places, rooms with two and three beds with a common bathroom for several rooms. In the adapted part of the complex the rooms have their own bathrooms. There is a students restaurant with a capacity of 420 meals within the students residence hall. Students can also use a bar, a TV hall and a library.

Student Residence Hall at Cetinje
The Students Residence Hall at Cetinje is intended for the needs of Fine Arts students, and it has 120 places. Double rooms and rooms with three beds with bathrooms are available to students. The Residence Hall also has a restaurant with the capacity of 180 meals.

STUDENTS' ASSOCIATIONS
Students' Association of Montenegro
By becoming a member of this Association, each student acquires the right to participate actively in projects of the Association, as well as the right to use benefits of the students card. The Student Card Project provides new benefits for students, members of Students Association of Montenegro, and currently includes the municipalities of Podgorica and Nikšić, with plans to spread to all the municipalities in Montenegro. Those who use students cards can use a significant discount for goods and services.

IAESTE
IAESTE - International Organization for Exchange of Students in the field of engineering and natural sciences for doing professional practice. It was founded in 1948 at Imperial college in London, and today around 90 countries from all over the world take part in the exchange.
This association is a valid member of UNESCO, and it cooperates closely with numerous associations and agencies of UN and EU. Over 850 000 students have participated in the exchange programme since it was founded to the present day.
The basic aims of IAESTE are:
- to enable students to become familiar with industry, science and technique of other countries;
- to make possible improvement of foreign languages knowledge through stays abroad;
- to enable students to carry out professional practice in appropriate companies. in appropriate companies.
Yugoslavia has become a valid member of the Association in 1952, and the Office in Montenegro started work when Electrical Engineering Faculty was opened in Titograd. For unclear reasons, in 1990 the work of the Association was interrupted. Last year the Office was officially reopened and in line with the principles of this organization, 12 professional study visits of Montenegrin students were realized, mainly to Western European countries. At the same time, 26 foreign students did their professional practice in Montenegro. The best students from the University of Montenegro participated in this programme.

ELSA
The full name is European Law Students Association. It has existed since 1995. It was reorganized according to the new law on non-government organizations in December 1999, and since then up to the present day it has been functioning at the Faculty of Law. ELSA has over 160 members. It is an organization devoted to law students. ELSA Montenegro is a member of ELSA Yugoslavia, and through it a member of ELSA International, i.e. of European Law Students Association which has 42 member countries in Europe.
Within its organization ELSA Montenegro has several sectors:
- Academic Activities Sector
- Sector for Seminars and Conferences
- Marketing Sector
- STEP (Student Training Exchange Programme) Sector.
Each student of the Faculty of Law who wants to participate in the work of ELSA becomes its member by signing a membership form. The condition for becoming a member is proficiency in one foreign language and doing training in order to gain the necessary knowledge on ELSA and its functioning.
