1st Fore-Mont Research Open Day

Faculty of Electrical Engineering (University of Montenegro) announces a public event, 1st Fore-Mont Research Open Day. Faculty will showcase the opening of its new laboratory and marking the establishment of the new research centre for ICT. The lab has been equipped via the Fore-Mont EU project funds, marking the new direction of the applied ICT research at the University via the Research Centre for ICT as a major tool in the implementation of the Fore-Mont project. Amongst the invited participants are Fore-Mont project partners across the research centres in EU, local industry and participants with interests in collaborations, insight, and training (notable invitees include Minister of science in the Government of Montenegro and Rector of the University of Montenegro).

The research open day aims to further demonstrate the knowledge and opportunities in pursuing collaborative research with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering – University of Montenegro, both for international and local partners. Topics span ICT Research Areas already conducted by the research teams included in the Fore-Mont project and new areas for applied ICT research (e.g. ICT and life-sciences, sensor networks and IoT solutions).
