CROWNCOM 2016 Workshop

11th EAI International Conference on Cognitive radio Oriented Networks (www.crowncom.org) was held from May 30th to June 1st, 2016 in Grenoble (France). It was organized at the premises of CEA-LETI, the collaborative partner in the Fore-Mont project.

The Conference programme included Workshop with the title: “Software-Defined and Virtualized Wireless Infrastructure”, organized in the frame of the Fore-Mont project. Approximately 30 researchers participated in the Workshop, where 5 papers and presentations were given by the Fore-Mont researchers and the invited speaker Prof. Octavian Fratu )University Politehnica of Bucharest). Following the agenda of the Workshop, the research performed in the Research Centre for ICT in the core areas of its research agenda: IoT deployment and SDN concept, was presented. The participants of the Workshop showed further interest in the presented topics and the present Fore-Mont researchers: Prof. Pejanović, Prof. Radusinović, Prof. Veljović and S. Tomović who were at their mobility visits to CEA-LETI at the time of CROWNCOM conference, were approached for giving more information about their work and results.
