Takmičenje za najbolju inovativnu ideju u oblasti ICT




Research Center of Information and Communication Technology (ICT Centre), established through the project REGPOT Fore-Mont, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro, in cooperation with the Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics (BIO-ICT), under the auspices of the University of Montenegro, organizes a competition for the best innovative ideas in the field of ICT, which will be held on 25 and 26 May 2016 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro.

All registered teams will compete for the chance to present their idea to the expert jury, through presentations and work with mentors, gain new knowledge and experience, expand their network of contacts, promote their ideas and fight for the victory in the competition and win a prize.

The competition will take place in three phases. The first part of the presentation means are mentors from the country and abroad, on the theme of innovative and start-up idea, while others will be part of the preparation where the registered teams who have passed the first round of qualifying, present their ideas and then, working with mentors, continues to formulate and prepare for the competitive section. In the third part of the competition, teams will, through short presentations, to present their ideas to a professional jury, which will select the winner and award the best.

We invite all interested parties who have innovative ideas in the field of information and communication technologies to apply for the competition until 15 May 2016 by sending a check to the mail: foremont@ac.me. Teams can consist of Montenegrin students in higher education institutions and secondary school students.

Registration is done in teams of at least 3 members, wherein along with the application, they should submit a brief PowerPoint presentation about thier idea (up to 5 slides) which should include problem definition, market potential, innovative solutions, business model, and plan implementation, as well as the text description of idea (up to 500 characters).

Delivering presentations and descriptions of ideas with the application is required, and applications that do not contain these elements will not be taken into account in the next phase of the competition.

An expert jury will among all registered teams select 10 best ideas that will directly take part in the competition. All applicants will be informed about results of the elections of expert jury until 20 May 2016. All teams selected through the competition will receive an agenda with all the necessary details and instructions.
