On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: - accurately define the topics, opinions and stances conveyed in oral and written communication by listening to authentic speech including different dialects of the English speaking areas, as well as reading authentic texts, at the advanced level; - use the learnt grammatical structures and adopted vocabulary in oral and written communication, at the advanced level while presenting a high level of grammatical accuracy; - flexible and efficient use of English in social and business situations, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, conjunctions and cohesive devices at the advanced level; - change style and emphasis, and properly chose alternative expressions, depending on the type of conversation and situational context, at the advanced level; - translate texts / excerpts of medium length, from English into Montenegrin and vice versa, at the advanced level; - write a detailed and well structured text in the form of a letter or a composition in which it clearly expressed its views with the correct selection of styles at the advanced level.
