After passing this exam a student will be able to: - Master all four Russian language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing at the level C2); - Use concepts in contemporary phraseological theory and become familiar with its basic postulates; - Recognize different types of phraseological units, determine their meanings and spheres of usage; - Classify phraseological units from the point of origin, the sphere of use, stylistic affiliation, active and passive use, the possibilities of translation; - Independently write a master's thesis using the appropriate textbooks and scientific literature, bibliographic sources and contemporary internet resources; - Publicly present and defend their own views and research results, create their own written texts and presentations; - Participate in a team work.
