Upon the completion of this course, the student will show the ability to: 1. recognise pupils with developmental difficulties and disabilities; and depending on the type and degree of disability, find methods of working with these children aiming to unleash their maximum potential; 2. find a way for individual work with these pupils, and at the same time not neglect pupils with typical development; 3. participate in the work of the expert team for children with developmental difficulties and disabilities in their school; 4. apply preventive measures for children with developmental disabilities in order to avoid a deterioration of their condition. 5. organise the work according to the curriculum with pupils who are in longer hospital or home treatment.
