After passing the exam, a student will be able to: - Describe and explain the fundamental features of education systems; - Explain the concept of equality of educational opportunities and its application in practice; - Analyze the phenomenon of knowledge as a factor of social development; - Explain the procedure of curriculum development from the standpoint of assuring quality in education; - Define and analyze the different systems of verification and certification of knowledge (national and international) as well as assuring systems, monitoring and quality control of the education system; - Analyze comparatively the reform strategies offered by different educational systems.
