It is expected that after passing this exam, the student will be able to: 1. Define the characteristics of Realism as a stylistic and literary movement. 2. Differ models in historical- typological status of Realism (pre-realism, programme ealism, folklore realism, poetic realism, high realism and desintegration of realism). 3. Analyze the characteristic of the genre of the texts belonging to realism literary movement. 4. Estimate aesthetic values of artistic texts by relying on the relevant literary, historical, theoretical and critical literature. 5. Present synthetized knowledge on the period of Realism.
