At the end of this course, student will be able to: - talk about a wide variety of medical fields and situations - communicate with patients and their family and friends about difficult or sensitive matters - convey instructions to patients in a sympathetic but clear way - express their ideas in relation to medicine, including doctor patient consultations, conversations with colleagues and presentations - read a variety of medicine-based texts.
