Sinergy of Opposites – Exhibition Created as Result of Cooperation with Professors from Gdansk
Exhibition Sinergy of Opposites is open on April 4th 2023, in Montenegrin Gallery of Art Miodrag Dado Đurić in Cetinje.
Project presents artistic research conducted by four teachers from the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Faculty of Fine Arts from Gdansk and it is result of a long year cooperation of the Faculty of Fine Arts from Cetinje and Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, within Erasmus+ program of international credit mobility. At the exhibition were presented pieces of Polish artists: Aleksandra Jadčuk, Lukas Butovskog, Marek Vrzesinskog and Slavomir Vitkovskog.
At the exhibition, you can see painting experiments of Aleksandra Jadčuk, in which the landscape motif takes conventional form of a sign, strengthened by rhythm and texture of painting.
Marek Wrzesinski presents magical images of symbols drawn from the vastness of esoteric mysteries, inviting us to think about them.
For Slavomir Vitkovski, art is like a journey through life in the changing rhythm of events. He suggests that we stop and think about the war in Ukraine, which has been going on for more than a year, while Łukasz Butovski seduces us in his expressive paintings with a personal invitation to think about the meaning of human life, contrasting and interpenetrating the feelings of existential happiness and suffering.
During their stay in Cetinje, the guest lecturers also held a series of lectures at the Faculty of Fine Arts.
