At the invitation of assoc. prof. Veljko Radulović, PhD, architect Dr. Miljana Zekovic, associate professor at the University of Novi Sad - Department of Architecture FTS, will hold an online lecture "Inside Community".
The lecture is organized as part of the course on the subject of Interior 2, and will be open. It will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021, starting at 10:00 AM.
The Inside Community lecture focuses on the reversible architecture-community relationship, with the idea of pointing to a system of sub-themes that develops from an understanding of the fundamental importance of architecture for the community. By presenting and analyzing the author's projects of a group of Novi Sad architects gathered around joint work at the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Novi Sad, but also in direct work with various types of communities in Novi Sad, through activities in associations independent of institutions, those interested will be provided with insight. of different sizes. From the building of the Science and Technology Park, through the building of the new cultural station in Novo Naselje, to minor design interventions such as reconstruction and interior intervention in the environmentally sensitive, protected suburb of Petrovaradin Fortress, the emphasis is on ensuring the integrity of projects in terms of their appearance and context. , but also on design decision - making, which enables the maintenance of quality in the interior of these facilities, with reference to tenders, the influence of contractors and systems of political decisions that govern the life of a project in implementation.

Miljana Zeković, PhD is an architect. Employed as an associate professor at the University of Novi Sad (Department of Architecture and Urbanism, Faculty of Technical Sciences), where, over time, she teaches from the subject line: Architectural Design, Ephemeral Architecture, Stage Architecture, Architecture of Exhibitions and Events (undergraduate studies) ), as well as courses in the field of creative research in master's and doctoral studies. He is a visiting professor at the University of Arts in Belgrade (program of doctoral art studies - Multimedia Art), where he teaches the subjects Poetics of Multimedia Art and Architecture of Border Spaces of Art. From 2013 to 2017, she was one of the seven members of the executive board of the world's largest and most influential organization operating in the expanded field of theater - OISTAT. He is a co-founder and active member of two non-profit architecturally oriented associations (Efemera kolektiv http: /ephemeracollective.org/ and Baza - Platform for spatial practices http: /mismobaza.org/). He is engaged in research in the field of spatial design and spatial practices, spatial phenomenology, transdisciplinary curatorial practices and interdisciplinary experiments in the field of architecture and its correlating disciplines. He is an experienced organizer and leader of interdisciplinary workshops and other experimental formats for architects, performers, designers and other creatives, with many years of international experience - Novi Sad, Belgrade, Subotica (Serbia); Banja Luka (BiH); ISDSWE Beijing, 2011, 2012 (China); WSD2013 Cardiff, Wales (UK); PQ2015 Prague (Czech Republic); Edinburgh and Glasgow, 2017, Scotland (UK); WSD2017 Taipei (Taiwan) and EUREKA 2018 Kaohsiung (Taiwan); Manila 2018 (Philippines); Tampere 2018 (Finland) and PQ2019 Prague (Czech Republic).
