Worldly Recognized Expert in Science about Materials and Electrochemistry
Worldly recognized expert in science about materials and electrochemistry Robert Dominko, PhD, spoke about modern streams of development Li-ionic batteries and their alternatives on lecture held on November 26th 2019 in Multimedia Hall of the University Centre of Sport and Culture.
Dominko is Professor on the Faculty for Chemistry and Chemical technology of the University in Ljubljana and leading researcher in National Institute for Chemistry in Ljubljana.
This is the second guest lecture within the project ‘Materials for Energy Storage’ supported by the Ministry of Science of Montenegro with Manager Veselinka Grudic, PhD, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy.
Within the lecture “Li-ion, lithium and post lithium batteries”, next to presentation of research results published in the most prestigious world scientific journals (Science, Nature), the lecture also included current research activities and projects on the EU level, affiliation of science and research organizations in Europe with the aim of fast development of electric mobility and good examples of connecting fundamental science about materials and industry.
The scientist has especially underlined possibility for mobility and training of students in Montenegro on the University and Chemical Institute in Ljubljana, calling them to include themselves in research work on current projects in the field of batteres, financed by the EU and automobile companies.
