Fair Award to Historical Institute for Publishing Project
Historical Institute of the University of Montenegro was awarded for publishing project for the book ‘‘Berlinski ugovor 1878’’ (Berlin Agreement, 1878), at XIV International Podgorica Book and Education Fair yesterday.
The jury consisted of Sinisa Jelusic, the Chairperson, and two members Slavica Perovic and Marina Vesovic, said in the statement that this book may be rightly included in the publishing venture.
It is said that the Historical Institute ‘’continues its scientific mission of the publication of important historical books, works, studies and publications of rare material in that way’’, in the jury explanation on the occasion of award for the publication mentioned, whose content and importance in historical proportions correspond to its equipment and representativeness.
Edition of the book was supported by the Embassy of Montenegro in FR of Germany and the Embassy of FR of Germany in Montenegro, while donor Humboldt Association helped the printing of the part of circulation.
The University of Montenegro presented itself with its rich and diverse publishing production from various fields of science and art, through joint performance with organizational units at the International Podgorica Book Fair, held from April 4th to April 11th. The Fair was ideal opportunity for University to present to interested public, and especially to potential students before new school year, besides the presentation of publishing activities.
