Acting Dean Gardašević: The publication of the tender for the construction of the gymnasium is a significant step forward for the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education

The Directorate for Capital Projects has published a tender for the selection of a contractor for the construction of the gymnasium of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education at the University of Montenegro in Nikšić, with the total value of the works amounting to €2,230,000.

Acting Dean Assist. Prof. Dr. Jovan Gardašević said that this represents a huge step for the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education.

"Finally, we will have our own gymnasium and will no longer be dependent on others, with whom we have indeed had a great long-term cooperation, such as the Faculty of Philosophy, the Economic School in Nikšić, the Sports and Cultural Center of UCG, and many others. All these years we have been tenants."

Acting Dean Gardašević stated that the realization of this project will be especially important for students, as it will consolidate resources necessary for a higher quality and better work with them in one place.

"This gymnasium will serve, in addition to basic needs, also to promote healthy lifestyles through many actions that will be organized in it. This investment will further enhance our ability to provide top-notch education and support to our students, which is the fundamental goal of our work," said Gardašević.
