University of Montenegro: Commitment to the development of the state and society MONTENEGRO 2024 – 2034
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the University of Montenegro, as the cornerstone higher education, scientific, and cultural institution in the country, will organize roundtables this year addressing the next decade of Montenegros development across eight areas: Educational Policy, Economic Policy, Health Policy, Legal Protection, Cultural Policy, Energy Sustainability, Transportation Policy, Reindustrialization, and Digital Transformation.
The objective of this project is to examine key points that determine the further development of the Montenegrin community, producing tangible proposals for the enhancement or redefinition of the marked areas. The intention is for clearly argued and precisely articulated proposals from our academic community to be eventually published under the title "Montenegro 2024-2034: Vision and Recommendations of the University of Montenegro" and officially submitted for consideration to the Government of Montenegro and the Parliament of Montenegro, as well as made available to the professional and general public.
In this way, the University of Montenegro will aptly demonstrate its social responsibility and full commitment to the development of the state and society during its anniversary year.
The first in the series of roundtables will be held by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering under the title "Reindustrialization and New Products in Montenegro - A Chance for Sustainable Economic Development," on April 15, 2024, starting at 11 AM, in the Blue Hall of the University of Montenegro Rectorate.
