Visit of Podgorica high school students to the History Institute

On Thursday, June 8, 2023, the students of the "Slobodan Škerović" Gymnasium from Podgorica visited the Institute of History. Accompanied by their professors, Predrag Ražnatović and Dragoljub Paljević, M.Sc., the high school students (mostly second graders) had the opportunity to learn about the work of the oldest scientific institution in the country and its publications, some of the employees, as well as the nature of the work of each researcher. of the past. The need for at least part of the talented and ambitious high school students to seek their future university training in studies that would ultimately have their origin in the work within the Institute of History is particularly emphasized. We hope that our "marketing" was not bad, that we at least got someone interested in entering the adventure of scientific research and, to the extent possible, shook the stereotype of "boring historians".
