Realized mobility of members of the working team of the "Itinerary" project in Rome

The work team from the Historical Institute, consisting of Dr. Tatjana Koprivica, Dr. Slavko Burzanović, Dr. Olga Pelcer Vujačić, and MSc. Bozena Miljić, stayed in Rome from February 4 to 8, 2024. This mobility is part of the activities of the project Itinerari antichi e moderni lungo le fluviali del Montenegro: analisi dei percorsi identificati nella pianura del lago di Skutari e nel territorio di Municipium S e prime prospettive di sviluppo that the Historical Institute is implementing with Istituto di Science del Patrimonio Culturale – Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche iz Rima, within the Progetti di Grande Rilevanza program (2023-2025).

On February 6, 2024, members of the work team participated in the work of the "Itineraries" workshop. Together with their Italian colleagues, Dr. Lucia Alberti, Dr.  Francesca Colosi, Dr. Carla Sfameni, Dr. Bruno di Palma,  Elisa Fidanzi, and Tommaso Leti Messina, they analyzed the results of the work in the first research year (2023) and specified the dynamics of the realization of the project tasks foreseen work packages in the second research year (2024). At the workshop, Clara Vitiello, Lucrezia Cioffi and Elvira de Felice presented their graduation theses, which relate to the valorization of Doclea and Municipium S. These graduation theses were done under the mentorship of the project member, prof. dr Bruno di Palma at the Dipartimento di Architettura dellUniversità Federico II di Napoli.

During their stay in Rome, the members of the Montenegrin part of the project team carried out archival and library research in several institutions: Archivio storico della Società Geografica Italiana, Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Roma, Arthur and Janet C. Ross Library (American Academy in Rome), etc.
