Call for access to integrated multidisciplinary infrastructures in the field of materials and biomaterials

The Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium (CERIC-ERIC), announced a call for coordinated access to laboratories in 10 countries and the use of over 50 modern techniques to support research in the field of materials, biomaterials and nanotechnology. The call is opened to scientist from around the world and access will be free, provided that final results are made available to the research community within a reasonable time.

Applications are submitted online, via the portal Virtual Unified Office - VUO. The best projects will be selected by an expert review conducted by an independent international panel of experts.

In line with CERIC’s practice, after the initial submission of project proposals, applicants will be allowed to improve them on the basis of expert comments and to resubmit them by the deadline. Applicants are encouraged to take advantage of the pre-evaluation, although proposals can be submitted without this step.

The deadline for submitting proposals for pre-valuation is March 1, 2021, by 5 p.m, while the deadline for submitting final proposals is March 31, 2021, by 5 p.m.

Note: Several CERIC infrastructures may propose to promote remote measurements by sending samples due to the emergency situation caused by the COVID19 pandemic and local development of pandemic.
