Students of Environment Protection Programme Participate in Big Ecological Greening Action in Ulcinj

Students of the study program Environmental Protection (Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology), together with prof. Milena Tadić, participated on December 24, 2021 in a large ecological action of greening the Boulevard Teuta in Ulcinj.

The action was organized by the Environmental Protection Agency in cooperation with the Municipality Ulcinj and the NGO Dr. Martin Schneider-Jacoby Association- MSJA with the support of Coca-Cola HBC Montenegro, within the campaign "For a more beautiful and healthier Montenegro. This campaign was launched by the Environmental Protection Agency in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Montenegro's declaration as an ecological state.

1,200 seedlings of autochthonous species were planted: holm oak (Quercus ilex), carob (Ceratonia siliqua) and oleander, and allochthonous (non-native) plants, large-leaved magnolia and photinia.
