International Symposium „Contemporary batteries and supercapacitors, COIN2022“

Contemporary batteries and supercapacitors International Symposium Belgrade, COIN2022, will be held at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, June 1-2, 2022. The gathering will be attended by world-renowned professors and their collaborators in the field of energy storage, gathered around the prestigious international master's study program MESC + and the Battery 2030+ initiative, to present their activities and share new breakthroughs in this area. Researchers and professors from the region will present their ongoing research activities. Plans for the production of Li-ion batteries in Serbia will also be discussed.

The gathering will be a great opportunity for students to get acquainted with the latest technologies and establish long-term scientific connections with prominent professors and industrial leaders. All students from the Balkans are welcome to participate in this event and present the results of their thesis.

The co-organizer of the Symposium is the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology together with the Faculty of Physical Chemistry University of Belgrade, the National Institute of Chemistry in Ljubljana and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The symposium is mainly funded by NATO Science for Peace and Security program.
