World Otter Day

Students of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, study program Environmental protection together with the manager of the study program Environmental protection, Assistant Professor Milena Tadic participated in educational activities related to the celebration of the World Otter Day, organized by the Agency for Nature and Environment Protection, National Parks of Montenegro and NGA ‘Living green’. About seventy primary elementary school students from seven towns of Montenegro took part in the visit to Visitor Centers NP Skadar Lake in Vranjina and Virpazar, where ‘Teams of Otters’ were formed last year.

Otter is one of the indicators of a healthy environment and is on the list of protected and endangered species in Montenegro and the European Union states.
