Environmental Protection is Fulfilled, Vacancies at Metallurgy and Materials and Chemical Technology Programs

Mira Vukcevic, PhD, the Dean of the Faculty said that the vacancies at study program Environmental Protection at Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology of the University of Montenegro are fulfilled in the first deadline.

 ‘’At study program Chemical Technology three vacancies left, and on study program Metallurgy and Materials 35 vacancies which will be advertised in the second deadline’’, dean Vukcevic informed current admission results.

The opportunity to enroll have all four-year high schools and the taking of admission exam is not proposed. 

 ‘’In order to better inform the students about the possibilities of studying at the FoMT, the announcements of the interest for the students are regularly posted on the website of the Faculty and Facebook group. In addition to that, there is also available the possibility to all future students to, for that specific persons, about subjects, possibilities of practice, international cooperation and mobility. In the publications Faculty prepared for the future students, there are answers on frequently asked questions, as well as possibilities during studies, and employment after graduation’’, Vukcevic said.

She added that industry companies, that are teaching base of the Faculty for practical teaching, constantly invite students on cooperation which usually results with employment. The number of unemployed engineers of this profile, younger than 35 years is negligible according the evidence of the Employment Agency.  

 ‘’All those who enrolled some of the mentioned study programs at the FoMT or they have to enroll now, we advise them to use huge opportunities for practical teaching, for mobility as well as the possibility of communication with authorities in our partner companies where a job is waiting for them. We advise continuous work since the very beginning to all those who are just starting from the aspect of mastering teaching material, completely active approach to lectures and use of opportunities for consultations with the teachers, especially at the basic disciplines; chemistry, physics and mathematics, which are the most demanding’’, Vukcevic said.   .

The management of the Faculty and teachers are there to help them on the best way to overcome what they missed during high school education, and what is necessary for mastering the studies, she concluded.
