Demand for Engineers in the Industry as Recommendation for the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology

When it comes to enrolling a new generation in this academic year, the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology of the University of Montenegro expects the same interest in enrolling in study programs as in previous years.

Vice- Dean for Teaching MTF Nada Blagojević, PhD, says that the conditions of enrolment in all study programs are listed on the website of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, and additional information can be obtained from the management of the Faculty and the Student Service.

"There are three study programs at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology: Metallurgy and Materials, Chemical Technology and Environmental Protection, and last academic year 105 students were enrolled at the Faculty," Blagojević said.

In some study programs, the interest was higher than the number of announced vacancies, and as he explains, especially in the study program Environmental Protection.

Knowledge that students may acquire at this faculty will qualify them for successful work in the areas of design and application of engineering materials, technology design, optimization of production processes, environmental protection. Depending on opting for in the narrower field, they can become experts in process and processing metallurgy, synthesis of organic and inorganic products, ecology ...

Educational profile is passable for all study programs: grammar school, licensed religious high school, secondary vocational schools with profiles: metallurgical, chemical, electrical, mechanical, mining-geological, construction, agricultural, medical, pharmaceutical, textile-leather, environmental protection and other related profile.

Vice-Dean Blagojević says that students can get acquainted with the contents of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology through a short promotional film, posted on the faculty's website.
