Successful Project Activity of FMT in 2020

New FMT projects in 2020

The Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, despite of difficult mobility and particular working conditions in pandemic, in 2020 recorded a very intensive and fruitful project activity.

The Faculty is a coordinator or participant in 5 major projects that will create, more than a solid, partner base and conditions for further competition for more demanding funds and within wider consortia.

Projects obtained in 2020 are:

  1. Project: EUREKA - "White Iron Composition and Processing Design for Highly Efficient Casted Milling Balls", ACRONYM: Cast Balls, for 3 years with a budget of € 45,000.

The project will be implemented within a consortium consisting of: Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology - University of Montenegro, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy - University of Belgrade, Industrial Complex Foundry Guca Ltd., Foundry Pjastera Ltd. Niksic.

The project manager in front of FMT is Kemal Delijić, PhD.

  1. Project: EUREKA - "Development of test strips based on electrochemical (bio) sensors for determining the concentration of disease biomarkers for the purpose of early diagnostics and prevention", Acronym (MED-BIO-TEST), lasting 3 years with with budget of € 45,000.

The project will be implemented within a consortium consisting of: Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, University of Montenegro, Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences, University of Belgrade, Serbia, Analysis DOO, Belgrade

The project manager in front of FMT is Zeljko Jacimovic, PhD.
