SWOST project got an online edition: European networking for achieving equality in sport

An international project “Sport without Stereotypes – SWOST” in which Faculty for Sport and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro also participates, got its own web presentation, on the address http://swost.eu/, which was the topic on fourth online monthly meeting chaired by Centro Studi Cultura Sviluppo.

Website will promote sport activities with equal possibilities for all, then volunteering, employment in sport, education of sport personnel, as well as promoting of European traditional sport and games, support of mobility of volunteers, coaches, managers and staff of non-profit sport organization.

The goal of SWOST is to increase participation and equal approach to sport, addressing gender stereotypes and any discrimination in sport.

In project is involved 9 European countries, 11 organizations (6 universities and 5 sport organizations/associations), i.e. more than 20 prominent experts.

This meeting was the opportunity for discussion of main tasks of work packages WP2 and WP3. Full prof. Duško Bjelica, PhD and assistant prof. Bojan Mašanović, PhD on behalf of the University of Montenegro attended the meeting.

This project is approved within program Erasmus +Sport: Sport, Youth and EU Aid Volunteers and it is fund by The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency. In addition to encourage equal opportunities for all sport participants, this project will provide support to innovative approaches of sport management.
