Assistant Professor Mašanović Appointed as Head of Network of 13 European Institutions in the Field of Sports Science

Vice Dean for Teaching at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro, Assoc. Dr. Bojan Mašanović was appointed as the new head of the CEEPUS network called "Education, Training and Research in the multidisciplinary field of Sport Sciences".

"For six years now, the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro has been the manager of the subject network within the CEEPUS program, in which, in addition to the University of Montenegro, 12 other universities participate, namely universities in Ljubljana, Zagreb, Split, Sarajevo, Mostar, Novi Sadu, Suceava, Pristina, Tetovo, then Masaryk University from Brno, University of Sports Sciences from Budapest and Primorska University from Koper," Mašanović points out and adds that it is important to emphasize that the network in question represents the only CEEPUS network in the entire system that is managed by higher education institutions in Montenegro, which gives special importance to the position he was appointed to, he states, but also requires reciprocal responsibility that he will have to deal with in forthcoming period.

CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) is a Central European program based in Vienna, Austria, which provides scholarships for the mobility of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students and for university professors for study stays, language courses, intensive courses (summer schools and training of young teaching staff) and student excursions in some of the member countries of the CEEPUS program, with the main goal of improving education at higher education institutions.
