Faculty for Sport and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro the New Futsal Champion Alongside other Victories

Team of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro is new champion in futsal, with all victories won during the Lustica Bay Student Futsal League of Montenegro.

Due to adherence to measures against spreading the COVID virus, the League restarted after a break of almost three months, in the hall of the University Sports and Cultural Center.

After the final match played last night with the Student Dorm PG team, the team of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education came out as a winner.

Holders of this title are: Bojan Pejović - goalkeeper, Željko Škiljević - goalkeeper, Dragan Baćović, Mrdelja Čvorović, Luka Cicmil, Kosta Vuković, Goran Delić, Božidar Popović, Ivan Tomašević, Jakov Vukčević, Boriša Jovović, Filip Vuković, Vlado Ćupić, Dragoslav Bajović, Mirko Vuceljic.

From this team, Goran Delic was named the best League player, while the League goalkeeper of is Bojan Pejovic.

Team of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education had a winning result in all League matches, starting from the group stage, in which they beat UDG with a score of 5: 1, Faculty of Economics 5: 2, FTH Kotor 12-0, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering 3: 0.

In quarterfinals, team defeated FMS 3: 1, in semifinals UDG 3: 1 and in the finals Student Dorm PG1: 1 (6: 5).

Team of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education UMNE was led to title of champion by Coach Dr. Ivan Vasiljevic, who as a student, playing for this faculty, won the champion title of Montenegro.
