Alumni of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering have secured an investment of 1.8 million dollars: They will hire Software Engineers
Alumni of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of UMNE, founders of Uhura Solutions, which has developed a platform for contract analysis based on artificial intelligence, have provided an investment of $ 1.8 million. Among them are Đuro Stojanović, Bojan Tešić, Blažo Crvenica and Mladen Marković.
The company, based in London and R&D center in Montenegro, will use the investment to expand the team with focus on hiring developers at the development center in Podgorica and to scale operations.
In addition to long-term cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of UCG through mentoring students at the Start-up Academy Rise-T, Uhura Solutions is also a partner in the project DUALMON (Strengthening capacities for the implementation of dual education in Montenegro Higher Education). Within this program, a pilot of dual education is planned in the VI semester of the Computers module in the study year 2022/23. Best students of this module will have the opportunity to take final exams in all five compulsory subjects by working on projects in selected companies, including Uhura Solutions.
