Invitation to participate in the Festival "Days of Science and Innovation 2023" - DEMO OPEN MONUSEN
The Montenegrin Center for Underwater Sensor Networks (MONTenegrin Center for Underwater SEnsor Networks - MONUSEN) is also participating in the organisation of the "Days of Science and Innovation" Festival this year. The field demonstrations, "Get to know underwater acoustic communication and positioning technologies with us - DEMO OPEN MONUSEN," are organised for high school students from September 27 to 29, 2023, in Kumbor. The activities are planned to promote and popularise scientific research and innovative activities in underwater sensor networks, encouraging a research approach among young people, acquiring new knowledge regarding trends in marine robotics and sharing research data following the FAIR principles to facilitate the dissemination of knowledge.
Members of the MONUSEN project team from the University of Montenegro and partner institutions will present the latest technological achievements in the field of underwater sensor networks in the following field demo workshops:
- Underwater acoustic sensor networks for detection and monitoring - 09/27/2023 (from 15:30 to 18:30);
- How to make underwater communications private and authentic? – 28.09.2023 (from 15:30 to 18:30);
- MONUSEN CNR - UCG field demonstration - 29.09.2023 (from 15:30 to 18:30).
We invite students and teachers of high schools to attend and participate in the field demonstrations that are organised for the first time in Montenegro, where we will promote the power of science and the importance of technology in solving the challenges of coastal protection, the authenticity of underwater acoustic communications, as well as designing algorithms for guiding the movement of surface vehicles.
