Participation in scientific conferences of senior associates of the Historical Institute

Senior research associates at the Historical Institute of UCG, Dr. Zarko Lekovic and Dr. Radenko Scekic, are in the period 15-19. September 2021, participated in two international scientific conferences:

- Žabljak (15-16.9.2021.) Organized by UCG, the Ministry of Ecology and Spatial Planning and the Municipality of Žabljak, which was opened by Rector Vladimir Božović. The gathering was held on the occasion of 150 years of Zabljak and 30 years since the proclamation of Montenegro as an Ecological State. At the gathering, the representatives of the Historical Institute presented the works: "Temple of the Holy Transfiguration of Christ in Žabljak" and "North of Montenegro - social changes during the transition period 1991-2021".

- Gacko (September 16-19, 2021) "Ćorović's meetings of historians" which are traditionally organized for the 23rd time by the cultural society Prosvjeta. At the gathering, the representatives of the Institute presented the works: "Fratricide in the area of ​​Northern Montenegro and Old Herzegovina 1941-42" and "The Year 1941 and the War in Montenegro" on the pages of the journal Historical Records. The papers have already been published in the Proceedings.
