Lectures held by prof. Gelichi and presenting with a charter of appreciation to the Embassy of Italy

On Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the Historical Institute of the University of Montenegro, in collaboration with the University of Venice's Ca 'Foscari, within the mobility of academic staff, Erasmus + lectures were held by Dr. Sauro Gelichi on the topic:

• The Italian Archaeological Experience in Montenegro in recent years: the Italo-Montenegrin excavation in Antivari

• New data on old question: Venice and the Adriatic Sea on the archaeological point of view.

Lectures were attended by numerous researchers as well as academics from other University units and Montenegrin cultural institutions.

On this occasion, before the lecture, Mr. Damian Rampini, Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Montenegro, was presented with a charter of appreciation by the Historical Institute for their contribution to the development of scientific cooperation of the Historical Institute with the scientific institutions of the Republic of Italy, marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Historical Institute.
