Prof. Dr. Ervin Sejdic named as recipient of the Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers

The collaborator in the CS-ICT project Prof. Dr. Ervin Sejdic from Pittsburgh University, has been awarded by the President Obama as an “Extraordinary Early-Career Scientists”. The awards are coordinated by the Office of Science and Technology Policy within the Executive Office of the President. Awardees are selected for their pursuit of innovative research at the frontiers of science and technology and their commitment to community service as demonstrated through scientific leadership, public education, or community outreach. Dr. Sejdic has visited our research group in September 2014 for the purpose of training, professional expertise and knowledge exchange, about signal processing algorithms and approaches for biomedical applications.
