CRESCENTO Project and Steering Committee Meetings

Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, University of Montenegro, hosted the CRESCENTO Project and Steering Committee Meetings on 4^th July 2023. The event was organised in a hybrid form (online and on-site - Podgorica). The CRESCENTO project, which is funded in the scope of the fifth call for project proposals within the Adriatic-Ionian transnational program ADRION, envisages the establishment of the ADRION transnational cooperation network on the circular economy, defining an education and training program and developing a joint masters program on circular economy. The transition from the linear economy model to the circular economy model is practically the only way to solve short-term and long-term sustainability challenges: resource conservation even beyond the end of the products life cycle, prevention of waste generation through reuse, recycling or remanufacturing. During the CRESCENTO Project Meeting, the participants discussed the progress of activities in the WP1: Networking and implementation of Education and Training Programme concept and WP2: Definition of a joint master degree on the Circular Economy. The Steering Committee Meeting was held in the afternoon, focusing on organising the summer school in partner countries, Joint Master templates and discussing the overall project progress.
