Scientists from Four Continents at the Scientific Conference about Sport
International scientific conference "Transformation Processes in Sport - Sport Performance," which will be organized for the 14th time from 30th March to 2nd April in Budva, will gather more than 120 participants from 23 countries and four continents - said Chairman of the Conference Prof. Duško Bjelica.
Conference is organized by Montenegrin Sports Academy in cooperation with the University of Montenegro and the Faculty for Sport and Physical Education, as well as with international partner institutions, under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science.
- The conference will gather 121 participants, and 183 authors and co-authors from 23 countries - Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Kosovo, Lithuania, Nigeria, China, Poland, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States - said Bjelica.
According to his words, at this year's conference – whit the highest quality so far - will be presented 96 papers, and it is expected that over 60 guests follow the work of scientists, as well as around 100 master and PhD students from the region.
Dean of the Faculty for Sport and Physical Education, University of Montenegro Stevo Popović said that the plenary speakers at the conference will be Prof. Ali Reza Amani from Shomal University in Iran, Prof. Marko Stojanovic from the University of Novi Sad, Prof. Ines Varela-Silva from Loughborough University in England, Prof. Mutlu Turkmen from Bartin University and Prof. Robert C. Schneider from the State University of New York.
He added that the book of abstracts of all papers will be published in English, and he reminded that at the Conference two workshops would be organized and led by Prof. Narcis Gusi from the World Health Organization, and Goran Sasic from ULEB (Euroleague).
