On Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 2 pm, as part of the 16th Podgorica Book Fair, a promotion of new editions of the Historical Institute of the UoM was held. The historical institute and its publishing activity were presented by the director of the Institute, Dr. Radoslav Raspopović. Olga Pelcer-Vujačić spoke about the jubilee editions of the Historical Institute - Monuments of the Historical Institute 1948-2018 and the Bibliography of Records - Historical Records (1927-2018). On that occasion, it was pointed out that the Monument of the Historical Institute was not only intended to remind of the importance of the date when the Historical Institute of Montenegro was founded, but also to present the overall scientific results and phases it went through in organizational and personnel terms. It is also an expression of cultivating a culture of remembrance, because it contains not only information about the founder, time and place of founding, manner of work, comprehensive results by which the Historical Institute became widely scientifically recognizable, but also factual data about everything else important. work achieved.

Ivan Laković presented the monograph Montenegrin Artillery in the 19th Century by Radoslav Raspopović and Branko Bogdanović. A significant number of photographs originating from the Czech, Polish and archives and archival institutions of other countries, which until 1918 were part of Austro-Hungary, as well as the State Archives of the Russian Federation and the Central State Military History Archive, the Archives of the Historical Institute, the State Archives of Montenegro , Archives of Serbia.

Danilo Kalezić spoke about the book Montenegro in the American press. The book was prepared for the press and the introductory study was written by: Dr. Biljana Vučetić from the Historical Institute in Belgrade and Dr. Radoslav Raspopović from the Historical Institute of UoM. In this publication of the Historical Institute, attention is paid to the attitudes of American public opinion and its perception of Montenegro, in the last war and the first post-war year of the First World War. News from Europe initially reached the American press from British newspapers. However, as the war progressed, so did the atmosphere in American journalism.
