PROMOTION OF THE BOOK "ROMAN TOWN OF DOCLEA"

The promotion of the childrens book "The Roman City of Doclea", as part of the Science and Innovation Day 2022, was held on September 30, 2022, in the Gallery "Risto Stijović" in Podgorica. It was published in the edition Eppur, patrimonium, Institute for textbooks and teaching aids in Podgorica.

 The book is the result of work on the project The Future of the Past: Study and Enhancement of Ancient Doclea, Montenegro, within the program Progetti di Grande Rilevanza del Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, which is implemented by the Historical Institute of the University of Montenegro and the Istituto di Scienze del Patrimonio Culturale - ISPC - Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche.

The authors team of the publication "The Roman City of Doclea" is composed of historians, archaeologists, art historians, physicists and architects, and consists of: Tatjana Koprivica, Lucia Alberti, Olga Pelcer-Vujacic, Carla Sfameni, Marilena Cozolino, Bruna di Palma, Franceska Colosi, Slavko Burzanović, Pasquale Merola, Maja Gori and Ivan Laković. The illustrations were made by Dejan Batrićević, the book was graphically designed by Dejan Batrićević and Suzana Pajović, while the reviewers were prof. Dr. Ilija Lalošević and Dr. Dejan Gazivoda.

The following spoke at the promotion: Minister of Science and Technological Development, Prof. Dr. Biljana Šćepanović, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy in Montenegro, H.E. A. Andreina Marsella, acting Director of the Institute for Textbooks and Teaching Aids, Aleksandra Hajduković, Dr. Lucia Alberti from ISPC-CNR from Rome and Dr. Tatjana Koprivica from the Historical Institute of UoM.
