A Certificate of Appreciation to the Historical Institute of the Ministry of Science and Technological Development

The History Institute of the University of Montenegro received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Science and Technological Development for partnership in the organization of the Science Days 2023 festival.

During the festival, the Institute of History in Barutana, (Podgorica), held a workshop: Culture of Remembrance - Monument to the Fallen Fighters of Lješanska Nahija, intended for students of grades VII-IX of primary schools. The students learned about the history of Montenegro at the end of the 19th and the first half of the 20th century, the reasons for erecting the Monument to the Fallen Fighters of Lješanska Nahija, the architectural work of Svetlana - Kana Radević and the relationship to the monumental heritage of Montenegro.

In addition, the researchers of the Institute of History presented the CLIO MAP application. In this application, available on Google Play, which was created as one of the results of the work on the project "CLIO MAP - Montenegro on the political and cultural map of Europe", more than 220 cultural assets from Montenegro, from prehistory to the end, are presented XX century. The working team of the project presented the methodology of work on the preparation of the application, the way of using the application, the creation of chronological and thematic thematic routes, etc.
