Early Stage Researcher position in the Department of the communication system at the Jožef Stefan Institute

Applications are invited for an Early Stage Researcher position in the Department of the communication system (http://e6.ijs.si ), at the Jožef Stefan Institute (https://www.ijs.si/ijsw/V001/JSI ), under superposition of Assis. prof. dr. Andrej Hrovat in the area of telecommunications focusing on one of the following areas: propagation of the radio signals, optimization methods in telecommunications, localization in wireless communication systems, radio signal processing in 5G communication networks, radio resource management in telecommunication networks, and information-centric networking.

The successful applicant will hold an Early Stage Researcher position in the Department of the communication systems for four years and thus he/she should fulfil formal conditions published in https://www.ijs.si/ijsw/ZaposlitveIJS?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=MR18+ang.pdf  (concluded level 2 studies with a grade point average of at least 8.00 and be younger then 28 years) and she/he should demonstrate a basic knowledge and experience in telecommunication system, digital signal processing, programming (C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, Matlab, ....) and written and oral communication skills in English.
