The Faculty of Economics Honorable Participant of WorldSkills Russia 2019
The Faculty of Economics had the opportunity to present Montenegro on competition WorldSkills Russia 2019, held in Moscow from November 26th to 29th 2019. On the competition the Faculty of Economics presented itself in discipline – entrepreneurship. Call for this event our Faculty received after extraordinary results achieved on EuroSkills 2016 held in Switzerland and EuroSkills 2018 held in Hungary. Team of the Faculty of Economics was composed of Boban Melović, PhD, associate Bojan Pejović, MSc and students Marina Vojinović and Andrija Pavićević.
Competition included 51 disciplines and gathered several hundred competitors from more than 80 education institutions or universities. The event presenting finale of national competition after several months of regional competitions, was attended by a higher number of countries in category – country guest participant, among which was also Montenegro as honorable participant for entrepreneurial field. Guest countries had, according to the rules, the opportunity to participate in competition and measure forces with competitors without possibility of ranking for winning the medal, since this was finale of national competition with international character.
Team of the Faculty of Economics, after detailed preparations, presented idea - Online platform for Studying e one-clicksolutions.com and according to jury criteria sorted among most successful presented business ideas, confirming again the quality of the Faculty of Economics in the field of entrepreneurship and business. Participants received prestigious WorldSkills certificates. We underline with special pleasure that on the competition Boban Melović, next to WorldSkills Competition Expert's Diploma, was awarded with special acknowledgment for extraordinary contribution to competition WorldSkills Russia 2019.
Besides the competition, participants had the opportunity to take part in other activities foreseen by the program, including meetings with representatives of other universities and leading companies with the aim to further reinforce and develop cooperation.
