Learning outcomes: After completing the one-semester course in Psychiatry, the Dentistry student should have the following learning outcomes: 1. Differentiate between different groups of mental disorders and know how to describe and distinguish between the psychopathological symptoms of mental disorders. 2. He is qualified to approach a mentally ill person and conduct a psychiatric interview, take an anamnesis and compile a psychological profile. 3. Knows how to describe all categories of mental disorders and classification systems for the diagnosis of mental disorders. 4. He is qualified to diagnose and describe treatment methods and therapeutic procedures for basic mental disorders in consultation with a specialist in psychiatry. 5. He is qualified to set indications for hospital treatment of mental disorders and indications for psychotherapeutic and socio therapeutic treatment. 6. Has the communication skills to establish a conversation with psychomotor agitated patients in emergency and crisis situations and with their family members.
