Perović: On the Faculty for Tourism and Hotel Management Pre-Exam Tests will Facilitate Examination Phase
At the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management of the University of Montenegro, pre-examination tests are a great challenge for professors who, in accordance with the nature of their scientific fields, offered students appropriate online concepts. This was said by the Teaching Coordinator at this faculty and Vice-Rector for teaching at the University of Montenegro, Đurđica Perović, PhD.
"Taking into account nature of education of future tourism, the importance of mastering communication and interpretation skills, as a necessity of direct contact between students and professors, pre-examination tests are organized on a number of subjects, through recommended platforms / Moodle, Zoom /, with measures that are ensure the quality of the process, "Perovic explained. According to her, students were given the opportunity to present and seminar papers, and thus the opportunity to achieve a certain number of points this way as well.
"Pre-exam knowledge tests that have been realized or will be realized in these circumstances will be a mitigating circumstance for our students due to the collected points, but the final exam will be realized in the premises of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, when the conditions are met. I believe that we are all looking forward to that, because in addition to the advantages of virtual teaching, which enabled us continuity in pandemic conditions and was the only possible one, communication between students and professors, the interaction that takes place in the hall is irreplaceable in the teaching process. After all, that is the greatest satisfaction and privilege of the professor's profession, " Perović pointed out.
She was especially pleased to point out the interest of students, who participated in large numbers in online classes and various modalities of pre-exam tests. According to the assessment of Vice-Rector Perović, at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, the teaching process was very successfully conducted in new circumstances and the continuity of teaching was provided by using the recommended platforms.
