Students of the Faculty of Law UMNE Participated in Prestigious Vis Moot Competition in Commercial Arbitration
Students of the third year of undergraduate studies of the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, Nina Gošović, Milica Radulović and Božo Knežević, participated in jubilee 30th international competition Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot from the field commercial arbitration, held in Vienna from March 31st to April 6th 2023.
Students have demonstrated an envious knowledge from the field of international commercial arbitration and in trading business as well of international sales of goods, demonstrating their skills in written and oral part. We congratulate them for their seven month work and diligence in presenting the Faculty of Law.
The whole competition was in English, and their arguments concerning this year legal issue, students had the opportunity to present in front of dozens of arbitration councils, online in preparing exercises with many teams from region and world, and in live competitions held in Rome (AIA-CAM Pre-Moot) and Belgrade (Belgrade Opet Pre-Moot).
The Faculty of Law UMNE this year for the ninth time in a row participated in Willem C. Vis Moot competition, one of the most prestigious in the field of law, which gathers teams from over 400 universities worldwide. Preparations of students were led by coaches Nikolina Tomović, MSc, associate in teaching on the Faculty of Law, Mina Radonjić, compliance manager, and Ognjen Ćipović, attorney at law.
