Seminar within EU Project ADRION 5 Senses

Organized by the National Tourist Organization of Montenegro in Podgorica, a seminar was held aimed at building and improving the professional capacities of participants in tourism within the EU project ADRION 5 Senses.

According to the announcement, within activities on capacity building of the ADRION 5 Senses Brand, and in order to technically and organizationally improve participants in tourism, this seminar discussed topics such as marketing of tourism products, targeting and positioning, planning, promotion and communication, sustainable tourism product development and digital marketing.

In addition, a review was given on the topic of marketing in a crisis situation, as one of the current topics in the new situation due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The seminar was led by Ilija Moric, PhD, a lecturer at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, University of Montenegro.

The conference was attended by representatives of NTOMNE, local tourism organizations of Montenegro, the Office for European Integration, hotels, travel agencies and guides.

"The main activities carried out so far within the ADRION 5 Senses project are: development of a strategic and action plan, creation of a logo, promotion of the project at the fair in Athens, one of the largest international tourism fairs in Europe - FITUR in Madrid and BIT in Milan. was preceded by the development of the ADRION web platform and a map of sensations on which there are tourist places of interest in Montenegro presented through five senses, and more information can be found on the project website: www.adrion5senses.eu ", as stated in the announcement. Representatives of the National Tourist Organization of Montenegro announced the next activity, within the project ADRION 5 Senses is organization of webinars in September. The project "ADRION 5 SENSES" is funded by European Union funds, within the ADRION Adriatic-Ionian Program and includes nine partner organizations from the Adriatic-Ionian region.The National Tourist Organization of Montenegro is holder of the project for Montenegro and is actively engaged in implementation of activities aimed at applying an integrated approach to the development and promotion of sensory tourism, and the creation of new types of offers in tourism, said the organizers.
