After passing the final exam, it is expected that the student will be able to: 1. Understand the essence and specific information related to a presentation, interview, announcement, news, instruction in the context of sports in standard English as well as to recognize the views and mood of speakers and circumstances of an interaction. 2.Communicate fluently - with an acceptable pronunciation and intonation well as use the appropriate register related to sports. 3. Understand the topic, tone as well as register of a written text, as well as important facts in the text, using appropriate vocabulary and grammar, which, at this level, involves the usage of present and the narrative tenses, future tenses, modal verbs, passive voice and reported speech 4. Explain the semantic field given lexical / corpus paraphrasing and quoting synonyms and / or antonyms. 5. Comprehend and analyze the usage of individual words in the context, as well as the appropriate collocations, phrases and idioms. 6. Write a well-structured paragraph clearly linking ideas and using the appropriate: vocabulary, spelling, punctuation and grammatical structures.7. Translate heading and longer paragraphs into English. 8. Identify the forms of politeness. 9. Translate simple forms consecutively into and from the English language. 10. Fluently use the forms of politeness. 11. Fluently report from and into English.
