After passing this exam a student will be able to: 1. Understand the importance of statistics in psychology and importance of the psychological research. 2. Understand the basic statistical concepts. 3. Differ continuous and categorical variables and to distinguish between the levels of measurement. 4. Group and analyze the data, determine the presence of non-standard observations. 5. Calculate measures of central tendency and variability measures. 6. Understand the importance of normal and to recognize the asymmetric distribution. 7. Recognize the importance of asymmetric distribution in modeling statistical data. 8. Implement and interpret parametric statistical tests.
